1. What natural disasters mostly affect our country and what are some of their consequences?

R: hurricanes. The most severe hurricane to make landfall in Colombia in the last 12 months was »Julia«. The winds reached speeds of up to 139 km/h near the city of San Andrés at 01:00 local time on 10/09/2022, and at that time it was 77 kilometers in diameter. 

The consequences of this hurricane were: 

storm surge, high winds, heavy rain, landslides and flooding.
