1. What natural disasters mostly affect our country and what are some of their consequences?

R: hurricanes. The most severe hurricane to make landfall in Colombia in the last 12 months was »Julia«. The winds reached speeds of up to 139 km/h near the city of San Andrés at 01:00 local time on 10/09/2022, and at that time it was 77 kilometers in diameter. 

The consequences of this hurricane were: 

storm surge, high winds, heavy rain, landslides and flooding.

2 Pandemic: Covid-19. What did the experts tell people all over the world to do and not to do?

My news sources are newspapers. advantages: opinions of professionals with in-depth knowledge of the issues, or the opinions of ordinary citizens. Newspaper editorials tend to have the advantage of being the opinions of people who have a broad understanding of current and historical events.
